The new Veinlite LED is the most powerful pocket side-transilluminator available today for vein imaging prior to vein access or for consultation with patients prior to varicose vein treatment. It creates uniform lighting for vein imaging anywhere on the body. Solid-state LEDs used in the Veinlite LED create almost no heat.
Hand-held battery powered transillumination device for imaging of veins and assisting with venous access. The Veinlite LED uses dual color LED lights to illuminate veins through the 21 mm opening. (The ring measures 21 mm at the inside of the widest part and 15 mm the narrowest part of the opening.) Orange LED's (12) for viewing superficial veins and red LEDs (12) for viewing deeper veins. Two switches allow for selection of either or both colors for optimum vein imaging and different skin tones.
