The Veinlite PEDI is the smallest and most compact vein transilluminator that is designed for smaller children, babies and neonates. It utilizes the patented transillumination technique known as side-transillumination, which enables the Veinlite PEDI to uniformly illuminate a small region of skin and subcutaneous tissue without any areas of shadow allowing better visualization of veins than any other transillumination method.
Utilizes 12 LEDs (8 orange/4 red). Two switches allow for selection of either or both colors for optimum vein `imaging in the smallest patients and different skin tones.
An innovative, snap-on neonatal adapter (included) is designed to shine six of the closely packed LEDs through a small opening for safe through-the-body transillumination of small limbs.
The C-shaped design helps secure the vein, provide traction on the skin and facilitates easy needle insertion plus offers viewing and access to superficial veins anywhere on the body.

Lightweight (41 gram) and palm-sized (approximately 2.6" L x 1.65" W x 0.83" D). Unit includes a CR2 lithium battery (regular camera battery), neonate adapter and light shield, and a packet of 50 disposable plastic sleeves.
